The Marine Master with Bluetooth® HI97115 was developed specifically for the aquarium industry and determines a variety of important aquarium parameters. With the waterproof multiparameter photometer with Bluetooth®, you can measure pH, alkalinity, ammonium, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, nitrite and phosphate in saltwater aquariums and marine biology applications. The HI97115 photometer is a compact and versatile measuring device that can be used as a stand-alone unit or integrated into an existing system with the integrated Bluetooth module and the Hanna Lab app and a compatible smart device.

The HI97115 multiparameter photometer is a waterproof, portable multiparameter photometer that benefits from Hanna®'s many years of experience as an analytical instrument manufacturer.

It features a LED (light-emitting diode) optical system with a narrow-band interference filter and enables accurate and reproducible measurements. The optical system is protected against dust, dirt and water. Position markers on the sample chamber and cuvettes ensure that the cuvettes are inserted into the holder in the same position every time.

The CAL Check functionality allows you to check the performance of the instrument at any time and to perform a calibration (if necessary). Our CAL Check cuvettes are manufactured to NIST standards.

The integrated instruction mode guides you step by step through the measurement process. The display shows you each step of the method, including the required reagents and their quantities.

The methods include:

  • pH in seawater – Colorimetric adaptation of the phenol red method (pH 6.3 to 8.6)
  • Ammonia in seawater – Adaptation of the salicylate method (0.00 to 2.50 ppm (as NH3) parameter above or below)
  • Alkalinity in Seawater – Colorimetric Method (0.00 to 20.0 DKH)
  • Magnesium in Seawater - Adapted Colorimetric EDTA Method (1000 to 1800 ppm as Mg2+)
  • Calcium in Seawater – Adaptation of the Zinkon Method (200 to 600 ppm)
  • Nitrate in Seawater, low – Colorimetric Method (0.00 to 5.00 ppm as NO3-)
  • Nitrate in Seawater, High – Zinc Reduction Method (0.00 to 5.00 ppm as NO3-)
  • Nitrite in Seawater, Ultra-low – Adaptation of “EPA Diazotization Method 354.1” (0 to 200 ppb as NO3-)
  • Phosphate in Seawater, ultra-low – adaptation of “Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 20th Edition”, Ascorbic Acid Method (0.00 to 0.90 ppm)
