Water without pollutants with optimal hardness is a prerequisite for healthy animals and plants as well as successful breeding.
With ROWA®plus+ and reverse osmosis water you can create a habitat water free of pollutants of the desired hardness - depending on the dosage from Lake Amazon to Lake Malawi-Tanganyika.
Only salts of the highest quality are used.
In addition to the hardness formers, the important macro elements sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sulfate and chloride are added to the aquarium water.
Depending on the degree of hardness required, mix an appropriate amount ROWA®plus+ of with reverse osmosis water in a plastic container. 1 level measuring spoon (about 6 g) will increase the GH by approx. 1.5 °dH (KH: +0.8 °dH) for every 100 l of aquarium water. The water will then be ready for use after a few minutes. Please check the hardness before adding to the aquarium with a suitable test kit.
Only the hardened water itself should be used: any sediment which might accumulate as the result of high salt concentrations should be disposed of.
ROWA®plus+ is also suitable for hardening soft water. The dosage is to be reduced accordingly.
Tipp: adding CO2 increases solubility.
